Although meditation usually happens in groups, sometimes a person feels that a private session would be best. The peace and relaxation coming from a good meditation session can be a great relief, as well as moving you on in your personal and spiritual progress. Stresses and strains melt away and the person becomes more centred and calm.
On the way, do not be depressed if your mind is active. It is integrating events, feelings and thoughts from the day. It will also integrate memories from this life and also past lifetimes.
Meditation can be directed towards helping specific areas of life, such as dealing with personal relationships, deciding which work is best suited to you or which course to take in a given situation, whether there may be past life issues that need to be addressed. The list is endless. You may also receive instruction on how to raise your vibratory rate, connect with your Higher Selves, how to increase interdimensional awareness. In short, you are limited only by your wish and your imagination.
At the start of the session it is a good idea to open your mind to receiving from Source, your guides and/ or higher levels of yourself. Ask them to guide and protect you, to help you understand what you need to know now. You may be aware of feelings that you may not wish to have. Allow yourself to acknowledge these feelings and then move on. Your mind may stray. Bring your mind back, gently but firmly, to your meditation. Ask your guides, God or whoever you normally tune in to, to heal your feelings and attitudes.
There are many classic ways of meditating. You may choose to say a mantra out loud, or silently within. You may observe your breath. You may observe your mind. You may wish to try the meditations in the blog.
